Whistle Free Hearing
ReSound products feature Dual Stabilizer DFS II, which is one of the most advanced feedback systems available. Now the ReSound Live 9 series also has a second level of feedback suppression called Whistle Control. This feature works as a backup system to eliminate whistling on the telephone, while wearing a hat, and even hugging a friend, without compromising speech understanding. Live 9 has three levels of Whistle Control.
Hearing In Background Noise
Background noise is a common complaint of hearing aid users. ReSound Live 9 features Noise Tracker II, a more advanced background noise suppression system that delivers efficient reduction of background noise while preserving speech as to not compromise intelligibility. ReSound Live 9 features four levels of noise reduction.

ReSound Live 9 features the Environmental Optimizer, a seven program in one feature that allows instrument to automatically make adjustments to volume depending on listening environments. The Environmental Optimizer eliminates the need for multiple programs or a volume control as instrument is fully automatic. No more constantly fiddling with your hearing aid controls!
Flexibility
ReSound Live also features AutoScope, a new fully automatic directional option that enables the hearing aid to automatically adjust to provide comfort and clarity depending on what the wearer is listening to and where the sound is located. Access to volume control and program button is still available for those patients that prefer this option.
Tinnitus Treatment
Live 9 has a unique feature that can treat ringing in the ears / tinnitus /. The treatment works by producing an individually customized sound through a sound generator. The sound helps wearers cope, but also retrains the brain over time to not recognize the ringing.
